What is a SpaceShifter?

A SpaceShifter is an individual dedicated to reshaping the environments they inhabit to advance reparations for Black people, reparative and restorative justice, and community healing. SpaceShifters actively work to challenge systemic injustices and promote equity by advocating for reparations, amplifying the voices of Black communities, and fostering spaces that prioritize healing and reconciliation. This may include financial contributions, redistributing resources, and leveraging their influence to shift power dynamics in support of reparative initiatives.

    Share our content, stories, and resources to raise awareness about the importance of reparations and racial equity.

  • Educate Yourself

    Take part in our educational programs and workshops to deepen your understanding of systemic racism and reparative justice.

    Use your voice and platform to advocate for policies and practices that promote racial justice and equity in your community.

  • Invest in Reparations

    Consider contributing financially to support monetary reparations for Black individuals in Buncombe County. Your investment helps us directly empower and uplift Black communities while addressing the enduring impacts of systemic racism.
